COVID-19 Response
Hawthorn Senior Living implemented a leveled response to the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 and we continue to evolve our resident programming and employee training for all care levels as new information becomes available.
COVID-19 Updates and Communication
We are committed to maintaining communication with our residents and families regarding infections within a community. While always respecting the privacy of the individual (including whether resident or staff), we will notify residents in writing if we are made aware of a positive case in the community. We will also send an e-mail update to anyone that subscribes to community-specific e-mail updates. You may subscribe by clicking here.
Vaccine Progress
All Hawthorn Senior Living Communities have completed the initial vaccine initiative with resounding success. New residents are encouraged to have discussed and, where appropriate, made arrangements for a vaccine with their physician and family prior to moving in.
Residents should discuss any recommended vaccine booster with their physician. Hawthorn communities, provide local transportation to medical appointments, including pharmacies and immunization clinics.
Visitors
We are happily encouraging visitors in every community, with few exceptions.
