“When I came to Glenmoore for the first time, I didn’t even think about moving in. I had cats, and most places do not allow animals. My son was in town, and I invited him to come over with me to have dinner. We were both surprised that it was so fresh, open and light. I went home and figured out my finances and thought I might be able to do it. I was in my house for 49 years. Once I decided, I put that all behind me, and now I am the community librarian. The kids don’t have to worry about me, and I’m staying very active. I didn’t want to stop my life. I wanted to continue with my hobbies and enjoy my friends.”
