\u201cWhen I moved into Glenmoore 8 years ago, I was concerned about whether I would feel lonely and isolated. But I was welcomed warmly and lovingly. The residents eat together in the dining room where we socialize, talk, and laugh. I don\u2019t feel isolated at all. Glenmoore is on a quiet street with trees and flowers. However, we are very close to shopping and the freeway. Most of all, Glenmoore is my HOME!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I came to Glenmoore for the first time, I didn\u2019t even think about moving in. I had cats, and most places do not allow animals. My son was in town, and I invited him to come over with me to have dinner. We were both surprised that it was so fresh, open and light. I went home and figured out my finances and thought I might be able to do it. I was in my house for 49 years. Once I decided, I put that all behind me, and now I am the community librarian. The kids don\u2019t have to worry about me, and I\u2019m staying very active. I didn\u2019t want to stop my life. I wanted to continue with my hobbies and enjoy my friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing the loss of my wife, I continued at our home alone, but it became evident that that was a full-time, arduous job, leaving very limited time for rest or relaxation. I had visited several senior living communities and was left with considerable apprehension about going that route. When Glenmoore opened, I found it to be just what I had hoped for. Its on-site management, movie theater, library, exercise room, card room, chapel and daily resident activities program made it a premier establishment at no additional cost. The management staff is seriously concerned about the quality of the food served and resident comfort. I have found the residents of Glenmoore to be great people and a pleasure to meet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
